These terms govern your use of ParkPlan.org (the "Service"), operated by Park Plan LLC, an Ohio limited liability company ("we," "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
ParkPlan is a free trip-planning tool for U.S. National Parks, monuments, and select state parks. It generates itineraries, budgets, and travel estimates based on data we've researched and third-party services we integrate with (routing, geocoding, flight search). The core planning tool is, and always will be, free to use.
Creating an account is optional and only needed to save trips across devices. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You can delete your account at any time by emailing us.
Please don't: scrape or bulk-download the site's data for a competing product, attempt to disrupt or overload the Service, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
Some links on ParkPlan are affiliate links. If you book through one, ParkPlan may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. This doesn't affect the itinerary or budget estimates you're shown, which are based on our own research and public data, not on which provider pays the highest commission.
The ParkPlan name, logo, and the original content on this site (itineraries, trail write-ups, budget calculations) belong to ParkPlan. Photos are sourced from Wikimedia Commons under their original licenses, with attribution kept on every photo.
The Service is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We work to keep trail data, prices, and estimates accurate and current, but we don't guarantee accuracy, completeness, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ParkPlan isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, or from any trip, purchase, or outdoor activity you undertake based on information from it.
We may update these terms or the Service itself from time to time. If we make a material change to these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which ParkPlan is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
